Summary[]

Frank tries to get to the bottom of the conflict at the café but is advised by Rachel to leave Kathy and Pauline to sort their own differences out. Mandy and Janine see the video footage of Arthur and Mrs. Hewitt kissing.

Kathy returns to her flat in a bad mood. Mandy shows her the cake she has made her but Kathy does not appreciate it, so she throws it onto a chair and storms off.

Pauline learns that Kathy was getting the money through Ian, who was getting it from Pete, so that Pete could indirectly give Pauline money to help her. She is grateful and reminds Pete they must stick together.

Mandy returns and apologizes to Kathy for her behaviour.

Tricky Dicky informs Phil of Dougie's whereabouts.

Kathy is fed up with Pauline and the Beale family. She lectures Ian and Pete about the secret loan and tells them to give Pauline the money so she can buyout Kathy's share of the café.

Pat talks with Pauline in the shop and tells her to bin from her life what makes her unhappy. Pauline takes Pat's advice on board and decides that she is going to make Kathy an offer for the café. Arthur relays Pauline's decision to an ecstatic Kathy.

Phil tracks down Dougie and beats him up to get the £25,000 he stole back.

Kathy spots Ian with flowers. He gives them to her and insists they were for her.

Pat tells Frank that Pauline is planning to sell her share of the café and quit. Frank panics as there is not enough staff.

Phil gives Michael and Tony the money, but he is a few thousand short, so is beaten up.

Ian meets with Cindy again and gives her flowers and a cheque for £1,500. She is thankful and in disbelief.

Kathy sits Mandy down and tells her she wants to live on her own again. Mandy does not take the news well and begs to stay.

Tricky Dicky meets Kathy and Rachel in the café for celebratory drinks.

Arthur tells Pauline the light has been left on at the café, so she heads over to turn it off, but finds the trio in there. She leaves them be and cries at home, convinced they are laughing at her, but unaware that Kathy feels awful about their argument.
