Summary[]
The squatters worry as time almost comes for them to be evicted. Rachel asks Tricky Dicky for a stall on the market. Sharon agrees to the idea of booking male strippers for a night at The Vic.
Rachel asks Tricky Dicky for a stall on the market tomorrow morning. He slyly suggests a sexual romp with her, but she counters by inviting him to Number 55 for a romantic evening together. He gives a noncommittal reply to her invitation before leaving the café. At the Arches, Grant tends to some dodgy business with his associates over the phone. Sharon turns up and suggests booking male strippers for a night at The Vic, but Grant is opposed to the idea and argues with her. Ian tries tracking Cindy down but cannot find her, as she no longer lives in Devon. Sam cooks mashed potatoes for everyone at Number 23. Dot gives the squatters an earful about their nutritional health when she turns up looking for Nigel. At The Vic, Ian asks Pat if she knows of Simon and Cindy's whereabouts, but she has not heard from them. Sharon books the male stripper troupe for next week after conferring with Phil and Pat about her idea. Rachel waits for Tricky Dicky to arrive, but when he does not turn up, she starts writing her new romance novel before falling asleep for the night. After returning from her night out with Clyde, Michelle notices Tricky Dicky kissing Tracey outside The Vic at closing time. She runs into Pat who informs her about Sharon booking male strippers. Rachel rushes out the next morning to secure a market stall, but Tricky Dicky notifies her that she just missed out on the stall allocation. He proceeds to ignore her and quickly walks off with Tracey. Commotion arises on the Square as Colin Simpson and the police arrive to evict the squatters. Mandy, Mark, Ricky and Sam keep themselves locked in, but realise the game is up when the police begin attempting to break the door in. They begin moving their belongings from inside. Mandy gets emotional but receives wise words from Mark about life being too short to worry where to live. Nigel tries to get inside to help the squatters but ends up getting arrested. Mandy gets herself ready to leave and then she and Mark head off on his bike for some breakfast. Sam cries as she accepts Ricky and her are officially homeless. |
