Summary[]
Ian hastily gets pest control in to deal with the cockroaches. Nigel moves into Dot's house and is convinced he can get her wrapped around his little finger. Hattie starts having man troubles.

Phil heads over to the Vic to find out what Sharon is planning to tell Grant. He is shocked when she wants to confess all and reminds her she chose Grant over him. Rachel has bought some books from a stall, knowing that Tricky Dicky likes them. Sam has spent the night out at a club with other models, but does not want Ricky knowing. Michelle notices Sharon all worked up and encourages her to talk. Sharon claims she has not been sleeping and needs to see Doctor Legg for sleeping pills. Arthur goes to see Doctor Legg but is unimpressed with the service he receives and thinks he should have gone out of practice a while ago. Ronnie turns up at the Meal Machine and insists the man that Ian spoke to on the phone was a friend of hers who sleeps on the sofa when he stays in London. Sharon has her appointment with Doctor Legg but ends up storming out when he is hesitant about giving her pills. Dot lays down some house rules with Nigel. Rachel invites Tricky Dicky over to her house and they spend the evening reading the books together, until they are disrupted by the unexpected arrival of Rachel's mother, Lilian, who insists on staying at hers as she has nowhere else to go. Sharon locks up the Vic and tells Grant she is going to sleep in the spare room so she does not keep him awake all night if she cannot sleep. Grant feels uneasy the next morning but heads to work with Phil anyway. Ricky rushes to the Vic soon afterwards and informs her there has been an accident at the Arches. Sharon rushes over and learns Phil has gotten metal in his eye and is going to hospital. She worries about him. |
