Sam has a job interview and is nervous. She wears the dress Mandy stole for her. Arthur confides in Kathy about a letter he receives from Christine. Rachel has a busy day on the stall.
|
A customer tries to swindle Rachel out of cash by claiming he gave her a £20 note instead of a £5. Tricky Dicky intervenes and ensures Rachel keeps her money. Ian thinks it is time for Kathy and Pete to meet Ronnie. Arthur receives post from Mrs Hewitt saying a final goodbye. Jules apologises to Hattie for letting her see him cry. Dot turns up to nurse him. Sharon is impressed when Grant lets her lie in and cleans the kitchen. Mrs Hogan, an elderly lady, visits Rachel on her stall, asking her how much she is willing to pay her to take her recently deceased husband's belongings off of her. Rachel gives her £10. Steve heads off to collect the money from the contract he bagged from Ian whilst he was with Ronnie. Arthur contemplates Mrs Hewitt's letter. He is saddened by what she wrote. Mandy apologises to Pete for thieving from his stall. Grant hopes to treat Sharon to another meal in the evening, but his plans are thrown into question when a friend wants him to attend his stag party the same evening. A dealer is interested in a fishing reel Rachel has displayed on her stall and offers her £20 for it. She tells him another buyer is considering the reel and hopes he returns later. Dot gets on Hattie's case about cleaning the house. Sharon allows Grant to go to the stag party. Steve presents Ian with the cash he collected from the company he bagged a contract with. Ian is unimpressed because he cannot take the cash to the bank or else he will have the tax man and VAT man on his back. Rachel shows the fishing reel to Kathy and gets her to ask around about the price of it. Grant thinks it is worth approximately £200. The dealer later returns and reluctantly agrees to give her £150 for it. Sam is upset when she is not even offered a job interview because someone else has already got it. Arthur decides to visit Mrs Hewitt. He explains to her that if he was not with Pauline they may have worked. He insists it will be the last time they see each other. They share one more kiss before he leaves. |
