Summary[]

Mrs. Hewitt returns to the Square to see Arthur. Hattie has locked her keys in the Meal Machine and cannot find Ian anywhere. Sharon cries to Michelle over Grant and her relationship.

Rachel tells Tricky Dicky she wants to keep her stall where it is. He tells her that he cannot promise her anything but is interested when she tells him she would do "anything".

Grant has gone missing again.

Mark washes Gill's clothes in preparation to take them to charity.

Mrs. Hewitt gets jealous when Arthur talks relentlessly about Pauline. She suggests they go to a flower show at Regents Park on a day out, but Arthur has a gardening job to complete for the council.

Ronnie enjoys the night she has spent with Ian and wants to continue getting to know him. He feels the same way and she is delighted.

Rachel misconstrues Tricky Dicky's idea of "anything" and thinks he is making sexual advances towards her. She tells Kathy, who is less than impressed and later confronts him.

Arthur returns and suggests to Christine they go for lunch at the Vic, despite all the gossip surrounding them. Once there, they have a good laugh winding up Pete.

Ian returns to the Square in a good mood, baffling Hattie.

Mandy gets bored having no job. Mark learns she stole from Pete and is determined to find out why. He is disappointed when she tells him it was because of Sam.

Pete tries to warn off Christine, but she is keen to prove her fondness for Arthur and does the household chores, before making his favourite meal for tea.

Grant makes another unexpected return. Phil is annoyed by him and gives him a good talking to about his relationship with Sharon. Sharon then walks in and asks Phil to leave while she talks to Grant alone. She accepts she should not have lied to him but persists that he had no right to smash the Vic up.

Arthur gets cramp in his hand. Mrs. Hewitt begins kissing it to make it better but ends up kissing him on the lips. He pushes her away in shock.
