Summary[]
Ian is shocked at how much Steve has spent on the catering and has words with him. Michelle considers giving up college and just working behind a bar for the rest of her life. Mark returns to the Square following a visit to Gill's family in Yorkshire.

Mandy goes rummaging through Mark's things in the squat and finds a shirt belonging to Gill. She puts it on and heads off to open Pete's stall for him. Rachel has bought a plant. Pat smacks Janine's hand when she plays up at the car lot. Janine cries. Mrs Hewitt thinks Arthur is not getting enough food inside him and decides she is going to cook him some proper meals. Mandy asks Steve to fix the stereo in the squat after intentionally pulling wires from it. He tells her he will do it when he is back from work. Mark almost heads into the squat but instead goes to Number 45. Rachel gets ideas when Kathy tells her she used to work on a market stall. Mandy asks Pete for a sub. He agrees to give her one the next morning if she pulls his stall out again. He then invites Mrs Hewitt out for the morning. Pat asks Dot to babysit Janine for her whilst she does a cab run. Steve's first catering service for the new company is a success. Michelle is delighted to find Mark at Number 45. Mrs Hewitt buys the pot that Rachel bought the plant in for £20. Rachel decides to ask Kathy how she went about getting a stall on the market. Steve visits Mandy at the squat and fixes the stereo. She is grateful. He gives her a bottle of champagne he bought for Hattie and she opens it. Mark walks in on them. |
