Summary[]

Mark and Gill are over the moon at how their day has turned out.

Mark gets flowers from the market and then heads over to the hospital, where he asks Gill to marry him. Gill says no but quickly changes her mind when George questions why she is not marrying the man she wants to. The registry office is booked and the pair get ready to wed.

Mark rushes back to the Square and begs Michelle and Rachel to help him find appropriate attire for Gill. He then realises he does not have a wedding ring. Michelle gives him hers, telling him she wants the ring to have meaning and more success than she did.

Phil agrees to find a car to take Mark and Gill to the registry office.

Rachel buys wedding flowers for the pair and makes them into a bouquet.

Kathy informs Arthur of the wedding, but he does not go.

Mark and Gill arrive at the registry office and marry. They then head to a restaurant to celebrate. Gill feels incredibly special and honoured to be married.

At the end of the day, Michelle returns to the Square and tells Arthur that Mark and Gill are married. The pair hug each other tightly.
