Summary[]

As Grant prepares for Christmas, Arthur is speechless to find a live turkey in the kitchen at Number 45. Kathy does not want Ian working all Christmas - but it seems that is what he wants to do.

Frank invites the milkman in but is forced to get rid of him when Pat makes awkward digs at the things he says.

Mark realises he must tell his parents of his HIV diagnosis and tells Rachel he intends to as soon as he gets a moment alone with them.

A man sells turkeys on the Square.

A Christmas tree is erected on the Square and the local residents assume it was Frank who has bought it until Pat dismisses their claims. Grant then takes the residents from the Vic to the Square as they learn it was actually him and Sharon who bought it.

Frank wants to make amends with Pat and decides to head to a restaurant and wait for her. She arrives after her work shift and they make up.

Ian sits in his office at the Meal Machine and burns a photo of Cindy and Steven.

Frank and Pat return to the B&B and invite Dot round to theirs for Christmas. As Dot is walking to Midnight Mass, Etta finds her and offers to walk with her.

Grant puts an "Out of Order" sign on the fridge-freezer, and when Sharon has gone to bed, he opens it - it contains a bouquet of flowers and bottles of champagne.
