Summary[]
Phil continues on at Ian to pay him the money he owes Grant. Steve asks Hattie on another date to help take her mind off Clyde. Arthur is still irritated by Pete.

The Taverniers and the Fowlers are informed of Clyde and Michelle's arrests. They unite to go to Portsmouth to fetch Kofi and Vicki, who have been put into children's care. Pat considers applying for tenancy of the Vic again. Frank is not keen, and when Grant and Sharon return from Mauritius, she is encouraged to leave it because of how happy Sharon is to be behind the bar. Michelle is returned to Walford via police car, and so is Clyde. Arthur is totally fed up of Pete. Kathy encourages him to phone the council and see how long Pete's flat will take to be repaired. Grant learns that Ian has still not paid him for his salmon. He begins fantasising about how he will get revenge. Michelle is released from the station while Clyde is interviewed by DCI Chapman. Michelle heads to Number 45 to see Vicki but she is asleep. She returns to Number 55 where a supportive Rachel listens to her problems. Pauline riles Arthur when she tells him she can get a new husband but not a new brother. Hattie is about to leave for her date with Steve when Etta snaps at her for not showing her consideration. The Taverniers then learn via a news report on the television that Clyde has been arrested for the murder of Eddie. Celestine tells Etta they will fight with everything they have for Clyde's freedom. |
