Zack is worried that he’s unknowingly passed HIV on to the baby following his own diagnosis. Having learnt from Kim that The Vic is open, Sharon makes a call. Chelsea asks Denise to watch Jordan so she can go on a date with Ravi,. Zack is desperate to know the results of the baby’s tests and asks Sonia. Alfie hits upon the idea of throwing a summer party in The Vic to banish the January blues. Organising the guest list for Lola’s hen, Kim puts her foot in it by asking about her mum not being on the guest list. Alfie's party helps to bring the community together, but he still hasn't got permission to host this event or re-open the pub. Ben tells Jay he can’t make the wedding because of some work coming up from Portugal. With things going brilliantly in the bar, Alfie keeps the drinks flowing and thinks he’s hit the jackpot until Linda bursts in. Tipped off by Sharon, an upset Linda accuses Alfie and the rest of their neighbours of not caring that Mick is dead. When Ravi bumps into Denise, she warns him off Chelsea again. Sonia tells Whitney that Zack asked about the test results, leaving her wondering if she should give him another chance. After a chat with Brett, Zack goes to see Whitney. After getting a text from the clinic, Whitney is a bag of nerves, so Zack offers to support her as she opens it. Whitney thanks Zack but tells him it’d be best if he kept his distance now. Ben and Jay finally discuss their best man issue. Lexi gives Lola food for thought, when she also asks about Lola’s mum and why she left. Chelsea tries to lure Ravi into her house for a ‘drink’. In The Vic, Alfie mortified tries to sort things out, hoping to make Linda see that he meant no harm and that he was simply trying to be a friend. Linda takes comfort in his words and tells him that he can keep the pub running, as she simply cannot do such a thing in the wake of Mick’s tragic end. She subsequently reveals that she’s made a huge decision about her future, confirming that she intends to sell the Queen Vic. |
