Summary[]

Ian plans to get a lease on the old Dagmar building. Pauline learns she is being laid off at work. Grant refuses to let Sharon into his messy flat and something plays on Dot's mind.


Grant and Phil claim they do not know what the man is on about, but later admit they have the fake money and template when he offers them a large sum of money in exchange. Grant is excited by the potential, while Phil thinks not all is as it seems. When they return to the flat, they find it has been overturned. Grant is furious.

Diane and Mark head for another counselling session. Before the session, Mark examines a new bike in a shop, contemplating buying it.

Pete learns that Ian intends to lease The Dagmar. He informs Pauline of Ian's plans and they demand he sees them, hoping to talk him out of the idea.

Mark vents at another counselling session.

Dot admits to Ethel that her smear test results showed precancerous cells.

Michelle waits to hear about her potential new room at 55 Victoria Road.

Arthur learns that Pauline is being laid off at her workplace and is unhappy with the news.

Geraldine tells Michelle to work on her powers of persuasion at the travel firm.

Ian tells Kathy he will move to Surrey and work in a warehouse in order to keep harmony. Kathy tells him that is not what she wants.

Michelle is disheartened when Rachel tells her she has given the room to someone else.

Sharon confronts Grant over the forged money. Grant explains all and they go to kiss, although it is interrupted when another man returns, telling Grant he has something that belongs to him.
