Summary[]
Ian identifies his would-be killer and the police are quick to make an arrest. Denise comes face to face with a ghost from the past, and Stacey is surprised to receive an expensive gift from Martin. Mick spends an awkward Christmas lunch with Tina and Shirley at Gray's house.

Ruby plans to spend Christmas Day with Martin, but he goes to Number 31. She ends up having a meal with the Slaters, while Martin is left embarrassed when he gets Ruby and Stacey's presents mixed up. Lucas Johnson turns up at the assembly service Denise is attending with Raymond, having been released from prison. Denise is left shaken and rushes home. Patrick sets out to keep Denise from harm. Jean fears the worst when she finds a lump on her breast. Mick takes Ollie to see Shirley at Number 1, whilst Linda spends the day with Max. Ian is frightened when someone enters the Vic and torments him. Sharon visits Dennis' grave and phones Phil. It transpires that Phil attacked Ian and left him for dead at the Vic, while Sharon instigated his attempted murder. Knowing that he played a role in Dennis' death, Sharon is more determined than ever to make Ian pay. She poisons a Christmas pudding and feeds it to him, hoping it will finish him off. |
