Summary[]
The police tell Ian that Tina has been taken in for questioning, although his relief doesn't last long when another vicious incident leaves him terrified. Max is determined to start a new life with Linda and makes her an offer. Karen feels depressed about facing her first Christmas without Chantelle and comes to a decision, while Honey discovers that the fridge is broken, meaning she will have to cancel the community event.

Honey prepares for the Christmas community event when Kim returns to the Square in a milk float after a night of boozing. Jay warns Kim to be on her best behaviour as he wants the day to be perfect for Honey. DCI Arthurs informs Ian and Sharon that they have charged Tina for the attack - the case is in now court. The police will update the protection arrangements around Ian. A tearful Honey calls off the event when the fridge breaks at the restaurant. Jack tells Max that he doesn't believe Tina's responsible, as there's not enough evidence to back it up. Honey asks Suki if she will donate them food for the event from the Minute Mart. Suki refuses. Ian apologises to Sharon for letting off the fireworks while Albie was in the Vic. Sharon accepts his apology and is determined to make this the best Christmas for Albie. Max tells Linda that he has arranged for them to go and stay with Lauren in New Zealand. He confesses that he knows Linda attacked Ian. Linda's firm that she had nothing to do with it. Tina is released on bail. Jay arranges a catering delivery from an old friend who owes him a favour for Honey. She's thrilled. Karen confides in Bernadette that she needs to come to terms with Chantelle's death on her own. Bernadette urges her to speak to Billy. A brick is thrown through the Vic's window with a note reading 'THIS ISN'T OVER'. Karen finishes her relationship with Billy and confesses she knows he's still in love with Honey. The event is underway, and Jay makes a heartfelt speech about Honey. Ian confronts Tina about the brick, but Shirley and Gray provide her alibi. Gray tells Shirley that this could provoke Tina's bail. Max brings Linda flowers to apologise. Max tells Linda that Mick doesn't care about her anymore. He takes her flat keys from her bag. A despondent Billy sits alone in Ruby's and tries calling Honey. Meanwhile, Honey thanks Jay for everything he's done for her today as they stare into each other's eyes. Denise invites Jack to Number 20 for Christmas Day. Billy makes his way to Walford East and walks into the kitchen to find Honey and Jay kissing. Billy's left stunned and disgusted. |

- This episode contained flashback footage of Max Branning and Linda Carter on the night Ian Beale was attacked. The scene was incorporated into the episode as Max recalled seeing a shady Linda on the Square whilst hid in a dark corner with a bin bag containing the Lucy Beale Foundation award.
- This episode was filmed with social distancing rules being observed by both cast and production crew, even when the actors were playing family members or characters of a shared residence. The episode was also shortened to twenty-five minutes to facilitate new filming techniques.
