Summary[]
Ian is living in fear - and it seems he is right to be worried when a loud bang goes off in the Vic, leaving him cowering under a table. Tina is terrified when the police take her down to the station for questioning, Karen is distraught when Gray says he wants the kids for Christmas and Kathy is determined to have all her family together.
|
An anxious Ian eyes a gun bullet. He looks out of the Vic's window onto the market and watches a handful of his enemies pass by - Tina, Ben, Peter and Suki. Gray tells Shirley that he thinks he's got a lead on Tina's pizza guy. Linda watches Mick put the bins out from Number 27 and feels guilty about her night with Max. Max doesn't want to keep creeping around. Linda tells him that she needs time to think. Billy's bought a handful of presents to make Karen's Christmas special. He shows Bernadette a necklace that he has bought for Karen. Kathy and Sharon race into the Vic after hearing gunshots from inside to find Ian cowering in the kitchen corner. Mick knows that Linda didn't spend the night with a friend, but seems cool. Tina insinuates Gray's controlling behaviour to Whitney, but Whitney refuses to believe it. Jack tells Max that some DNA evidence has been found after forensics found a blue glass shard from the Lucy Beale Foundation award in Ian's clothes. DCI Arthurs takes Tina to the station. Whitney tells Gray about Tina's suspicions. Kathy rounds Ben and the Beale boys to tell them she wants the whole family together on Christmas Day. Karen's devastated when Gray tells her he wants the kids to spend Christmas with him and not at Number 23. Karen wants to call off Christmas all together. Max tells Linda that he isn't giving up on her. Mick watches them from the window. Halfway through writing the label on her Christmas present, Mick scribbles it out and notes that it's from Ollie. Jack tells Ian that somebody let off fireworks in the barrel store. Billy dresses up in a topless Santa suit for Karen. Karen's less than pleased and hurries off into the bathroom in tears. Gray tips off the pizza delivery guy for Tina's alibi. Ben picks up a lighter that falls out of Ian's pocket. Once again, the family walk out on him after he let off the fireworks, and he pins the blame on them for the attack. DCI Arthurs tells Tina he'll be submitting evidence to the CPS to have her charged with the attack on Ian after her alibi states he saw her leaving the Vic. Meanwhile, Max is burying the Lucy Foundation award at the allotments. |
