Summary[]

Diane scours around the East End in search for Disa. Jason is getting bullied. Dot finds out about the baby. The residents of Walford celebrate New Year at the Vic.


Dot investigates the constant sound of a crying baby. Michelle catches her listening into Number 23 and gets rid of her.

Diane decides to go and look for Disa again.

A karaoke night is planned at the Vic, grabbing several residents attention.

Dot refuses to let go of her suspicions and barges into Number 23. She is shocked by the sight of Michelle holding a baby and wonders where it has come from. Mark tells her it was found on the doorstep of the B&B.

Diane is led to Disa by an old homeless friend. She takes her to a café and phones Mark to meet them with the baby. Dot informs Arthur and Pauline that Mark has been looking after a motherless baby. The police turn up on the B&B doorstep to talk to Frank. Disa runs away when Mark appears with her baby. Diane catches her and encourages her to return to the Square. The police want to talk to Diane and Mark about what has been going on.

Jason runs into trouble with other youths. Pete scares the youngsters off and finds scars on Jason's back. Jason runs off.

Frank clears up confusion with the police. Diane helps Disa with her parenting.

New Year celebrations get underway at the Vic. Phil sings karaoke, with Dot and Ethel singing afterwards. Grant and Sharon return from Scotland. Michelle tries to extract from Sharon what happened whilst they were away together.

Ricky looks to buy a new car.

New Year arrives and the residents wish each other well. Disa looks to the future with her baby, now residing in Mo's old flat.
