Ian deducts £20 from Kat's pay without informing her. When she asks why, he claims the tables were sticky. A delivery man refuses to accept credit from Ian at the Vic because Mick always paid upfront. Max brands Ian a conman to the delivery man. Kat asks Ben questions about the job in the Vic. Ian cottons on that they are up to something and tries to get answers from Ben. Ash is fed up of Tina living at Number 41. Jack motivates Denise to tell Raymond that she is his mother. Linda and Max head behind the bar and begin working. Max offers customers drinks on the house. Tensions rise between Stacey and Suki. Kat is unhappy to learn that Phil has moved Shirley back to being a driver. She refuses to take part in the robbery unless Shirley is inside with her and throws Shirley's ID card on the floor outside. Ben chases Kat out and asks her not to forfeit her place, so she insists she will find a driver herself. Ian witnesses the pair talking from across the Square and, having overheard their conversation, offers to be a driver himself. He begs Ben to let him be in on the job so he can have some money. Ben refuses to let him take part in the job but agrees to find him some money on the condition he begs first. A desperate Ian starts to fall to his knees. Ben chuckles as Ian realises he was not being serious. Ian retaliates by telling Ben to stop trying to be like Phil. Once Ben has gone, Ian picks up Shirley's ID card from the floor. They are unaware the hidden bug is recording their conversation. Kim makes an eccentric return from Scotland. Phil reluctantly allows Kush to take part in the job. Ash admits to Iqra that she wants Tina to leave their house. Tina walks in just as Iqra says she will have to find a way to tell her that she will have to move out. DI Thompson is delighted to have picked up the conversation from the Arches on the bug. He takes the recording to Callum and agrees to keep Ben's name out if he tells him where the job is taking place.
