Summary[]

Stacey's arrival angers Ruby and Martin, although she reassures them she is only passing through. Ruby, however, has other ideas. Kheerat tells Mitch what Chantelle had asked of him and how she was trying to leave Gray. Ben struggles under police questioning as his story cannot be verified and Sharon grows tired of Ian treating her like glorified bar staff. Denise works out that Amy has a crush on Isaac and tells him he cannot tutor Amy any more.

A stand-off ensues between Stacey and Ruby in the Square. Stacey as good as admits that she's been the one stealing money from Ruby's account, but denies the allegations when she's asked directly. Stacey warns Ruby that she knows about her and Martin, and a furious Ruby threatens to call the police. Jean watches the commotion from afar, and when she comes face-to-face with Stacey, she can't bring herself to speak to her. Martin wants to see the girls, but all Stacey is interested in is finding out whether Ruby has called the police. She asks Martin to persuade Ruby otherwise and allows him to see the girls when he refuses. Later on, Stacey listens in on Martin and Hope bonding from the hallway and is left feeling guilty when Martin tells Hope that he's missed her so much. Martin persuades Ruby not to go to the police, pleading with her that he won't see his kids again as Stacey will run. She reminds Martin that if Stacey gets banged up, he'll get full access, but Martin can't do that to the kids. Meanwhile, Stacey is pleading with Jean who's still giving her the cold shoulder. She tells Stacey that the kids can move in and she'll tolerate her for their sake. But once Stacey's out of eyesight, Jean's heartbroken. Ruby visits Stacey and hands over a list of everything she stole from her. Stacey's still in denial, but Ruby warns Stacey to stay in Walford with the kids for Martin's sake and pay her back every last penny. If she doesn't and decides to run, she'll hire the best legal team money can buy.

Ritchie is still suspicious on why DI Thompson hasn't charged Ben with such watertight evidence. Lexi's distressed about her father and asks Callum after him. He lies and reassures her that everything's fine, but opens up to Jay that Ben is without a doubt facing prison. Later, Phil's paranoid, Ben could be looking at a minimum of eight years in prison. All of a sudden, a smug Ben walks through the backdoor - he's been released under investigation. Ben's cheerful and thanks Callum for getting rid of the CCTV footage, unaware that Callum is sat with Thompson and has just set Phil up. As Phil hands Ritchie over her money and explains the scenario, she's confused on how Callum has achieved such things as a junior copper. She warns Phil to watch his back - she reckons the police have released Ben to set targets on him.

Sharon suggests hiring Mick as a barman behind the bar to help her out, but Ian's smug. As his treatment towards Sharon rapidly declines, Kathy warns him that he needs to move on or Sharon will. Meanwhile, Sharon's receiving her own piece of advice from Linda who advises her to threaten to leave the pub. Taking on her advice, Sharon does so, but it backlashes when Ian agrees and expects her gone by tomorrow.

Denise receives a call from Sheree who's just got back. Anthony's visiting a sick Patrick. She's informed that Patrick is over the worse of the virus, but his energy levels are still down. Denise goes to cook dinner at Number 20 and Amy's quick to jump in and offer to help. Once there, Denise realises that Amy's intensions are on Isaac - she has a crush on him. Denise demands Isaac to stop the tutorials and to keep a distance.

Kheerat hands over Chantelle's box to Mitch and Mitch is suspicious on where he got it from, and Kheerat is forced to admit that he was the one who broke into the house and he was helping Chantelle as she was planning to leave Gray. Mitch asks Kheerat if he was planning to run away with her, but before he has a chance to reply, Suki walks in and interrupts the conversation.
