Summary[]
Diane decides she wants to help Disa and goes looking for her with Mark. Ian gets Simon up early to help him with the food for the event. Celestine and Etta look forward to Clyde and Kofi being together again.

Kathy sneaks out from the Vic in the morning, having spent the night there with Eddie. Ricky tells Sam he will try and get the keys for Mo's flat off Frank so that she can stay there with him for Christmas. Simon starts working on the food. Kathy is suspicious. Eddie plans a theatre trip for Kathy in the evening. Ricky lies to Frank and says he wants to help with the redecoration of Mo's flat. He gets the keys off Frank. Diane and Mark have no luck searching for Disa. Ian asks Kathy to help him out at the catering event. She agrees to, leading to Eddie giving their theatre tickets away to Arthur and Pauline. Kathy, Ian, Sharon and Simon head off for the catering event. Clyde is furious when Pearl does not show up with Kofi. He learns that she is actually emigrating and was in London a few days ago. Diane realises Ricky is up to something with the flat. She tells him she was planning on having her own friend stay there when she finds her, and compromises with Ricky, so that both Sam and Disa can stay there together. Ian, Kathy, Sharon and Simon return from the catering event, the evening having been a success. Ian gives Simon an extra £30 and tells him not to tell anyone. Kathy is concerned about Ian's behaviour, having noticed him enjoying bossing Simon around. She asks Pauline to talk to Pete so that they can help Ian see sense. Ian tells Sharon they are £30 down on takings. He asks who handled the money all evening and Sharon confirms it was only her and Simon. |
