Summary[]
After learning of Ben's arrest, Callum is distraught when Kathy reveals Ben was leaving the Prince Albert with another man and makes a difficult decision. Linda is unnerved when Shelley arrives at the Vic and tells Isaac about the landlady's drinking. Tiffany seeks advice from Callum over her problems with Keegan.
Karen confronts Sharon over Ian's offer. A shattered Whitney is relieved to be home. Karen's attempts at making Sharon see sense over Kayden fall on deaf ears and Sharon asks her to leave. Despite being late, Callum tells Mick his interview was promising. His smile is rapidly shattered when Kathy finds him and tells him Ben has been arrested. Karen considers her options with Kayden. A family meeting is called so that they can discuss what to do. Keegan receives a letter of rejection from the bank. Shelley visits the Vic to inform Linda she has a meeting with the headmaster to express her concerns over an alcoholic giving a reading to children. She tells Isaac about Linda's struggles, but Linda gets the better of her when she shows her up. Karen reaches a decision - she is leaving with Kayden. Callum and Kathy identify that Ben is not coping. Jack phones Kathy and tells her Ben was meant to be leaving with the man he met at the Prince Albert. Callum is crushed upon hearing the news. Whitney throws up after seeing the hole Leo was spying on her through. Bailey is upset by Karen's announcement and shuts herself in her bedroom. Habiba attempts to flirt with Jags at Walford East, but he does not reciprocate. Tiffany turns to Callum for relationship advice. Keegan manages to get Bailey to open her bedroom door. He finds her zoo sculpture destroyed and comforts her. Whitney heads into the attic to see what Leo saw of her and panics when the doorbell rings. She opens it after hearing Gray's voice and breaks down in his arms as she is overcome with the stress of feeling unsafe in her own home. Ben returns home and is given a stern talking to by Jack. Jack then sees Callum and warns him to ditch Ben if he really wants to get into the police force. Habiba ensures she bumps into Jags on the Square and flirts with him again. She invites him to do a one-on-one training session with her and then winds him up. Keegan pins Ian at the Minute Mart and blames him for what he is doing to his family. Callum tells Ben they are over. Ben breaks down and Callum cradles him in his arms instead of leaving him. Keegan shows Tiffany his rejection letter. She grows tired of him using the race card and tells him he may have just had a poor application. She tells him she is not sure what he is doing, but it is wrecking their marriage. |
