Summary[]

Arthur is paranoid about Celestine affecting his unemployment benefits. Simon considers leaving the Square with Cindy and Steven following his firing.

Pete takes the young boy, Jason, under his wing.

Ian tells Cindy that he is sorry Simon lost his job. Cindy tells Ian that Simon has applied for a new job at a bar in town and has an interview in the evening.

Pete receives warnings from residents about Jason.

Arthur goes to collect his unemployment benefits and is called into Celestine's office. He insists he was going to cancel his unemployment benefit and appreciates Celestine's silence.

Clyde heads back to Bristol to see Kofi and takes him out for the afternoon.

Simon gets the job at the bar in town.

Michelle tries to give Pete a warning over Jason, but Pete refuses to listen.

Clyde tries once more to get Kofi to stay with him at Christmas.

The bar phones Simon back and tell him they cannot take him on any longer. Simon storms over to the Vic and wants to fight Eddie. Eddie tells Simon he simply gave them a reference.

Jason tells Michelle he wants his knife back off Pete as she is walking home.

Simon is furious with Eddie and then hurls insults at Ian. Ian tells Simon he can offer him a job himself.
