Arthur enjoys his new business. As Frank misses Mo, suspicion remains solely on Clyde as the thief at the Vic.

A young boy keeps his eye on stalls across the market looking for opportunities to steal. Eddie decides to lay a trap to catch the thief at The Vic. He puts a dye on the clips in the till to dye the notes. The young boy steals from Pete's stall. Pete chases him but the young lad pulls a knife out on him and then gets away. Frank paints Mo's flat in case she ever returns. Celestine takes interest in Arthur's business and finances. Celestine talks to Clyde about Arthur and how he signs on every week for extra money. He tells him he knows what he has to do. Pat decides to spend the evening watching the till to catch the thief. Eddie takes Kathy out for a meal. Pete catches the young boy and again in the Vic. A fight between them ensues when the boy tries to get his knife back off Pete. Pat leaves the till unattended to see what is going on. Marcus visits Arthur and Mark about Phil and his upcoming court case. The Vic closes and Eddie cashes up - £20 is missing. Clyde and Sharon turn out their pockets, having not taken any money. Simon gives Eddie his wallet and puts a torch over the notes. He notices the dye and tells Simon he is fired. Pat does not understand how Simon could be the thief when she was attending the till all evening. She remembers the fight that broke out with Pete and then realises it must have been Ian who planted the notes in Simon's pocket. She tells Simon when he returns to the B&B. Simon confronts Ian and gives him a stern warning. |
