Summary[]

Gray feels the pressure after agreeing to take on Whitney's case and snaps at Mackenzie and Mia, leaving Chantelle worried. Following a conversation with Daniel, Jean hatches a plan to cheer him up. However, her mood changes following a phone call as she enlists help from Mo and Kush.


Gray stresses as he prepares to defend Whitney. He snaps at Mackenzie and Mia but is quick to apologise.

Police search Callum's bedroom in connection with his disappearance.

Jay tells Lola that Ben cannot hear them.

Jean receives a fright when she thinks Daniel has died.

Sharon remains in a state of shock over Dennis. She asks Ian to look after her son as she needs time alone.

Jean decides to cook a special meal for Daniel.

Whitney is interrogated. She remains adamant she acted in self-defence. DCI Morgan wonders why she attended the boat party after killing Leo.

Lola communicates with Ben through messages on her mobile. She encourages him to go to the hospital and get checked over for Callum and Lexi's sake.

Gray admits to Whitney it seems odd she dressed up after killing Leo. He asks her if she was with anyone and reminds her the phone will be checking her phone records.

Bobby and Ian make amends at the hospital. Peter then shows up and Ian is thrilled to see him.

Gray tells a concerned Kat that the police have extended Whitney's detention time. He is baffled when Kat explains she went to the boat party in a taxi with her, Kush and Mick. Mick then admits to Gray when alone that he went into the house.

Ian asks Peter to stay at Number 45 for a bit. He accedes.

Mick promises Gray that he acted in Whitney's best interest and then tells him he cannot go to prison as the last time he did it almost ruined his marriage. Gray tells Mick there is something clever but illegal they could do.

Ben has a hearing test at the hospital with Jay and Lola by his side.

Sharon crumbles as she heads into the Square for the first time since returning from the hospital. Karen sees her and tells her that it was Phil attacking Keanu that caused the crash. Sharon's blame turns to Phil for Dennis' death.

Gray visits Whitney again and tells her that Mick's involvement can help them, but they have to be careful.

Doctor Laghari informs Ben that he has gone deaf in his good ear and can only hear muffled sounds. He suggests a cochlear implant.

Mick gives a statement.

Jean makes an interesting meal for the family.

Ben cries as he messages Callum, telling him he needs him.

Daniel tells Jean that he will not die until she gets the all-clear.

DS Morgan notices that Kush and Mick both jumped to Whitney's defence when Leo gave her grief, and now Mick is trying to help cover his death. She tells Whitney she believes they have enough evidence to charge her with murder.
