Frank's sister Joan arrives in Walford, whilst Ian receives the blood test results.

Ian gets the results of his and Steven's blood tests but refuses to open it in front of Simon. Ian opens it once alone. Cindy learns Ian has the test and demands Steven gets it off him as she has a right to know who the father is.

Pauline is unsure about Arthur and Mark setting up a new business, especially with Phil's involvement.

The Butchers prepare for Mo's daughter, Joan, to arrive. Frank starts trying to redecorate Mo's flat.

Kathy learns from Dot that Ian has the results. She asks Ian about them - he says he does not want to talk about them.

Joan arrives and is shocked by the state of the flat. Frank takes Joan over to the B&B where she is reintroduced to the family.

Grant wants to negotiate the price of Sharon's flat again.

Ian refuses to tell Cindy or Simon the test results. Kathy sits him down in her flat and he tells her he is not Steven's father. Kathy praises him for having the courage to do what he did.

Frank sits in Mo's flat alone after finding a jewellery box. There is a note inside. Joan finds Frank and he asks her if he should read the note. She tells him to read it. He starts reading it but breaks down as he does. Joan reads the rest of the letter - it asks him to do what is right and put her out of her pain.
