Summary[]
Adam's lies start to catch up with him when he backs out of plans with Honey, only for her suspicions to be confirmed after a conversation with Iqra. Mick hosts a quiz at the Vic but soon realises he shouldn't have trusted Shirley to write the questions. Denise discovers there are rats at the salon and asks Sheree to sort it, while Phil tries to sort out the feud between Louise and Lisa.

Louise is avoiding Lisa. Jack insists to Lisa that what happened to Mel was an accident and that Phil and Sharon could report her for harassment. Lisa books herself into a psychiatric unit. Ruby tells Max that she had sex with Martin and that they are only dating. Max tells Martin that Ruby had sex with him out of pity and was embarrassed but Martin says they had sex multiple times and he would do so again. Denise tells Sheree to call the pest controllers. Mick and Ruby win the wife-swap quiz. Adam tells Iqra that the woman he was meeting, Sally, is his secretary and Habiba was a one-off mistake. Iqra then mentions Sally to Honey, who at first says Adam does not have a secretary but then says Sally is new. Honey asks Adam who Sally is and he says an old friend who used to be his secretary. After the wife-swap quiz, Honey takes to the microphone to say she has missed Adam and she often does because he is always away and being with Ash was nice because she actually cared about her feelings, treated her with respect and was not having sex with her colleague, patient, personal trainer or any other woman she sees. She says she deserves better than to be treated as dirt and leaves. Adam follows her home where she asks how many other women there have been as she knows about four. He says she has secrets too like going off to brush her teeth. He says they can fix this with a holiday but Honey realises he wants to go on holiday all the time because he has women all over the world. She asks why he stayed with her when they had no commitments and realises that he wanted someone he could treat as a doormat. She tells him to leave and throws his clothes outside. Iqra and Ash watch as he says she should be grateful to have been able to share him as she is an ageing single mother with lots of baggage and stayed with him because she thinks very little of herself and was too busy making herself vomit to care. She hits him in the mouth with a recycling bin, causing him to bleed, and calls him scum before returning home. |
