Summary[]
Sonia is stunned to find Martin at Bex's hospital bedside and gives him a few home truths about not being there until now. Desperate for cash, Rainie begs Kathy for a job in the cafe, but Ian is reluctant to even give her the time of day. Bailey asks Karen to be her legal guardian, Daniel and Jean grow even closer and Arshad talks to Mariam about her behaviour toward Iqra.

Martin is in the hospital with Bex but tells Sonia he cannot stay. Sonia says he should not prioritise the Slaters over his own family. Bex returns home and Martin tells her that he will stay for as long as she needs. Martin speaks to Stacey on the phone who asks if he has seen Ben. Martin and Ben then see each other. Kheerat demands that Ben pay him £10,000 that day but he is unable to get any of it back. Ben later sees a model car has appeared in his home. Rainie gets a trial in the café from Kathy but at the end of the day, Ian decides not to pay her. Rainie steals the tips jar and buys a bottle of vodka but when she gets home, she sees a note from Stuart saying he is proud of her so she pours the vodka away and cries. Kathy arrives with Abi and sees Rainie with the empty bottle. Believing that Rainie is lying about pouring it away, she leaves with Abi. Bailey asks Karen to be her legal guardian so Karen asks Mitch but Bailey overhears them talking about how Karen knew Dinah was planning her suicide. Bailey tells Karen that she heard this and refuses to speak to her. Arshad asks Mariam why she appears troubled. She tells him that she was mugged a while ago and cries. |
