Summary[]
Ben agrees to go on a date with Callum, although he begins to wonder if it is such a good idea after both Ian and Jay comment on his history with men - and things only get worse when Stuart pleads with him not to hurt his brother. Bex is fed up of Sonia fussing over university so by way of distraction she organises a baby shower for Louise. Mel continues to pressurise Sharon into getting her a villa in Portugal, Denise confronts Wanda over her treatment of Ted and Jean supports Daniel at his hospital appointments.

Bex arranges a baby shower for Louise to take her mind off university, which Sonia will not stop talking about. At the party, Lisa notices that Bex seems unhappy and is drinking a lot. Bex finds out that Sonia has taken a loan from Ian for university supplies and she goes to the bathroom to cry. Lisa follows her and says it may be easier to talk to someone she is not close to but when Louise interrupts them, Bex says she should leave. Bernadette plays Denise a strange voicemail from Ted where he screams at the end. Denise suspects Wanda has killed him and tells Patrick that she has found out that he is Sheree's fourth husband and Wanda's husband was said to have fallen down stairs but she is suspicious. Patrick says he knows about Sheree's past and says Ted called him and the voicemail was accidental and he was just having fun. Callum asks Ben on a date but when Stuart overhears Ben saying he has a date with Callum, he tells Ben to leave Callum alone so he cannot get hurt. Ben then invites Jay and Lola to their date and kisses another man, Scott, in front of Callum. Ben then tells Callum he is too needy and Stuart is happy when Callum returns home early. Ben supplies an apparently stolen car to a man, Jason, who pays him a huge sum of cash. Ben keeps the sunglasses he finds in the car. Dennis sees information about a holiday and tells Phil he wants to go so Phil reluctantly agrees to it. Mel finds out the police office who shot Hunter has returned to work. Jean accompanies Daniel to an appointment where he says he wants no more treatment. Dr Towne says they will follow his wishes and give him palliative care as well as a hospital avoidance plan. |
