Summary[]

Phil's family wait for news as his life continues to hang in the balance. Karen and Caren share their first kiss, while Habiba is disappointed when Adam cancels their date - and things prove awkward when he and Honey arrive at the restaurant. Rainie is hurt when Stuart takes her to a Narcotics Anonymous meeting and Denise gets more than she bargained for when Patrick returns home with an unexpected guest.

Phil requires an operation to relieve a subdural hematoma, which is successful and he is placed in a medically-induced coma. Ben accuses Keanu of the attack and Shirley says she saw him arguing with Phil but Keanu says he was trying to protect Phil. DCI Morgan arrives to take a statement from Ben and speak to Keanu.

Stacey tells Kush that they are leaving to look after Sean but when he asks about Arthur, Stacey realises that the truth could come out and she and Martin allow Kush to look after Arthur while they are away. Martin is unable to tell Bex he is leaving because Morgan is making house-to-house enquiries so they leave after Stacey and Jean share an emotional farewell.

Stuart takes Rainie to a Narcotics Anonymous group and afterwards she is angry and says he will never see her anything other than an addict.

Adam cancels his date with Habiba so Habiba covers Iqra's shift in the restaurant and is forced to serve Adam and Honey. Habiba tells Adam he needs to end his relationship with Honey soon and Adam makes an excuse to leave early.

Patrick returns from his holiday, shocking Denise by revealing his new wife, Sheree.

Caren kisses Karen and realises that it was Karen's first kiss from a woman and that she is not actually gay, so ends their relationship knowing that it can go nowhere.

Bernadette tells Keegan and Tiffany that she is happy that they are dating and resumes her friendship with Tiffany.
