Lloyd steals Jules's bike so that he can do his paper round, which his family are unaware of. Ian has a haircut and dresses smartly in preparation for a visit to the solicitors. Dot helps out at the B&B in place of Mo.

Kathy returns from a short holiday away. Eddie is pleased to see her. Mo mistakes Ricky for Frank again. Kathy visits Ian and is pleased to see that he is doing better. She goes to see Cindy but she is out. Ian visits the solicitors and is told he will need to do a blood test to confirm if he is Steven's father. Kathy visits Eddie and tells him she wants him to get rid of Simon from working at the Vic. Eddie does not want to get rid of Simon, which annoys Kathy. Ricky wants to buy a car but does not like the selection on Frank's car lot, so Frank agrees to take him and Sam to a car auction. Kathy and Pete think Ian should let Cindy and Steven go. Jules finds his bike has been scratched and vows to find out what has happened. Hattie realises Lloyd has used it. Frank, Ricky and Sam head off to the auction. Simon arrives early for work at the Vic. Mo irons her clothes at the flat. She puts a cigarette on the end of the ironing board, which falls into her basket of clothes and catches fire. Smoke soon billows from Mo's flat and residents panic. Mark and Pete rush over to the flat. Lloyd and Hattie go to fetch Pat. Mark heads on into the flat. |
