Summary[]
There are mixed reactions to the surprise arrival of Ben, Lola and Lexi. As the family catch up in the Vic, Ben quickly picks up on the tension between his parents and it isn't long before he finds out what Phil has been up to. Ruby begins to unravel as she relives her ordeal in court. Jean admits she is scared of chemotherapy. Billy and Honey attend a meeting for a potential school for Will.

Ben and Lola join up with their families in the Vic and Ben follows Keanu and Phil to the Arches, discovering the forged paperwork. Phil says it is to protect Ben. Danny then arrives wanting his money but Phil asks for more time. Ben pays him off and then says he can help Phil with his money laundering as he knows how it works and Phil agrees. Lola then tells Ben that she cannot bear lying to everyone but he says not to worry. Billy and Honey take Will to see Mr Garrity - the headmaster of a school Honey wants Will to attend. However, Mr Garrity says only the brightest students will get in so Billy stands up for Will, saying he would an asset to the school. Honey leaves, saying Billy made a fool out of her. Ruby gives her account of the rape, questioned by Gareth and the defence barrister, Sarah Jones. Stacey also gives evidence. Sarah tries to say that Ruby regretted consensual sex and told Stacey it was rape, and that Stacey was the person who first mentioned rape. Jack tells Tiffany to report her grooming and rape to the police but she refuses as she just wants to move on. Jean decides to face her fears and climb the O2 with Shirley before she starts her chemotherapy. |
