Summary[]
Stuart offers to deliver a letter from Dot to the solicitor about Doctor Legg's estate - but when he bumps into Rainie, he is taken back by her comments. Doctor Kennedy confirms to Jean that she has ovarian cancer and can start chemotherapy in two weeks. Stacey asks many questions and back at home, Jean asks Shirley if she can stay at the Vic and tells Stacey that it is not Stacey's job to look after her and the children need her more. Ruby considers calling Jay and then Billy encourages her to. Ruby and Jay meet in the Vic but when Jay realises that Billy got involved after she says he did not, Jay leaves and says he cannot believe anything she says. Bailey is invited to a friend's party but refuses to go, so Karen and her family arrange a party in their flat for Bailey and she enjoys it. Keegan tells Karen that he has booked an appointment to see a doctor. Rainie tells Stuart they are "kindred spirits" and later says that Dot will not leave Doctor Legg's money to family when she dies so they should manipulate her into leave it to them. Stuart refuses and when Rainie tries to convince him, he smashes a jar. She says that is the real Stuart that she knows so he says she should know to stay away from Dot and the money and not to test him. |
