Summary[]

Ian takes the shotgun and leaves Cindy and Simon. Arthur and Pauline's 25th wedding anniversary approaches. Pete is angry when he finds out the truth about Steven.

Pauline wonders if Mark will return for her anniversary.

A driver notices Ian wondering down a road and takes him to a bus shelter so he can return to Walford. Pete arrives at Cindy's parents' house to take her and Ian home. Cindy confirms to Pete their marriage is over.

Michelle finds Rob outside The Dog and the Trumpet and asks him to give Mark an invitation to the wedding anniversary celebrations.

Jules tells Hattie she should interview immigrants on the Square for her history project.

Sharon notices Ian return to the Square and tries to talk to him. He slams the door closed in her face. Pete returns to the Square and tries to see Ian, but Ian does not answer. He rips up Cindy's birthday dress from Simon. Kathy confirms to Pete that Steven is not Ian's son.

Hattie interviews Manny Rosenthal.

Mo is given post, which she puts back in the post box. She then leaves her keys on the post box.

Ian orders meat to the flat. Pete barges into the flat and tries to talk to Ian. Ian tells Pete that Steven is not his son, that Cindy has left him and that life goes on. Pete realises that Simon has been having an affair with Cindy and is the father of Steven. He rampages over to Pat to find out what is going on and demands to see Simon. Pat tells Pete that Simon has not returned from Devon yet.

Outside the front of the B&B, a taxi pulls up on the Square and Cindy, Simon and Steven get out.
