Summary[]

Mel struggles with the pressure of keeping her secret. Ruby gets the wrong end of the stick. Jean doesn't get the response she wanted from Ian.


Mel tells Hunter that she wants to tell the police what happened to Ray. Maddie tells Mel that she needs money but Mel says the plan to take Ray's money ended when he escaped custody. Later, Mel tells Hunter that she will not tell the police and he reveals that he has retrieved the bullet from Ray's corpse so that it cannot be traced. Mel is concerned that he did this like it was normal.

Ruby wakes up and Jay is not there; she does not see a note he left on her fridge so confronts him later about taking advantage but she sees the note and sends him one in return via a pint in the Vic.

Sharon tells Louise to distract herself from thinking about Keanu but Louise texts him anyway; Sharon says the best way to get over him is to pretend you are and eventually you will be.

Jean and Ian meet for lunch; he talks about family but she does not want to talk about that, and he says she is probably menopausal; after she leaves, Ian looks at a letter he received about his son, Bobby, being released from young offenders in June.
