Summary[]
Kat is determined to have the perfect family Christmas, unaware that her world is about to be turned upside down when the truth about Alfie and Hayley surfaces - bringing with it consequences that nobody could predict.
|
Stacey confronts Alfie and Hayley about their kiss. Alfie says nothing is going on but Hayley reveals that he is Cherry's father. Stacey tells Alfie to tell Kat or she will, so Alfie reveals that Jean knows. Hayley asks Bev to live with her again but Bev has nowhere herself. Bev makes Hayley cry so Kat orders Bev out of the house, telling Hayley that she loves her and will always protect her. Stacey tells Alfie that he or Hayley have to leave. Alfie tells Hayley and both say they should be the one to leave. Kat decides to wear her wedding ring for the first time since returning. Mick pours Stuart's drink down him when he refuses to leave the Vic. Jean thinks Ian has bought her a ring and she says "I do" but he has given her earrings that belonged to Jane. Hayley cuts a lock of Cherry's hair for Alfie and he tries to hide it from Kat but she sees it and realises it is Cherry's hair and that Alfie is her father but Alfie denies it. Jean reveals that she knew and Kat tells everyone to leave. Kat smashes Alfie's car windows, goes to the Vic and sings karaoke, crying. She tries to seduce Max but he turns her down, knowing it is not what she really wants. Stacey tells Kat to talk things through with Alfie, saying that Hayley has a crush on Alfie. Kat asks how she knows and realises that Stacey has lied as well. Stacey says that she saw them kissing the night before but that it meant nothing. Kat returns home in tears, says she is leaving, compares Alfie to Harry for taking advantage of Hayley and removes her ring. Alfie insists that he loves Kat but also loves Cherry. Kat says he is a liar and a fake and that their relationship is over. Alfie says he is fake because his true personality is ducking and diving, but he would never run away from his family. Kat accuses him of thinking bad things about her, accusing him of not being able to handle her past and saying he thinks she is dirty and brought the abuse on herself. Alfie shouts in agreement and calls her dirty and soiled, while Cherry is pure. Kat attacks him but Hayley and Stacey step in. Alfie insults all the Slater women. Hayley pushes him away but he falls down the stairs and hits his head on some logs, knocking him out. |
