Summary[]

Hayley's mother Bev reassures her that she has made the right decision in leaving the baby with the Ahmeds. She covers for her daughter when the rest of the Slaters come calling. Rainie and Max get a date for the custody hearing but fear the worst when they spot Cora going into Ian's house, and Mel is annoyed when she realises Ray has lied to her about not having the money to pay for her engagement ring.


Hayley's baby is with the Ahmeds but Arshad discovers that Mariam has not called social services because she is sure that Hayley will come back. Hayley is with Bev but decides to find her baby, however, she tells Kat that the baby is "miles away" and never coming home.

Stuart goes to the Vic and talks to Linda about the night he was shot and overhears her telling Tina and Shirley that she is unsure she really knew Mick. He also sees she has removed her wedding rings. Later, he texts her with a kiss and she puts a kiss in her reply.

Max and Rainie see Cora taking Abi to Ian's and confront her. Cora claims that Ian is backing her application and paying for her lawyer. Ian is stunned but when Max and Rainie insult him and his family, he says he will see them in court. Max then finds out he needs to get a new lawyer.

Ray claims he does not have enough money in his bank account to pay for Mel's engagement ring but she sees a receipt showing a balance of £142,878,04.
