Episode 5711 (22 May 2018)

Summary[]

As Mick prepares for bed he checks downstairs and is horrified to find Keegan, whose severe stabbing injuries make it impossible for him to tell the landlord about Shakil, who has collapsed out of sight elsewhere. Hayley befriends another homeless woman on the night tube. Masood is touched when Arshad and Mariam surprise him with some cash to put toward his business.

A homeless Hayley rides on the London Underground where she cons a man, Craig, out of £40 by pretending to be a prostitute. She befriends another homeless girl, Brianna, who steals the money from a sleeping Hayley after realising that she is pregnant. Craig tracks Hayley down again and says he would have given her the money if she had just asked for it. Hayley gets off the train and leaves Martin a voicemail.

Shakil tries to get help but Mick thinks he is drunk and he cannot get into the Vic as the doors are locked. Shakil collapses in the gardens out of sight, while Mick eventually finds Keegan, who has been chained to a drainpipe, and calls for an ambulance. He then decides to drive Keegan to the hospital in the car himself. Keegan tries to tell Mick that Shakil is also hurt but a distracted Mick swerves to avoid a motorcyclist. He is then unable to start the car again as a lorry speeds towards it!

Mariam and Arshad give Masood a large sum of cash to thank him for everything he has done for them.
