Summary[]

Ted rushes out to do some errands for Joyce, realising how much he takes his wife for granted. Mel reassures Hunter that she is not looking for a relationship, but when Jack keeps on pursuing her, the teenager tries to manipulate the situation. Jean decides to stay in Walford for a while, leaving Stacey pleased to have all her family back around her.

Ted carries out errands for Joyce but Bernadette worries about him so goes to his flat where he appears catatonic. Tiffany and Bernadette discover that Joyce has died in her bed and Ted says he found her cold in the morning and realises he was too late.

Phil sends Jack a bill for car repairs and Hunter tells Jack that Phil sabotaged the car, so Jack confronts Phil but punches Hunter by accident, so Mel sends him away.

Jean returns and says she will pay the debt to Annie with her life savings. Stacey is against this but they are forced to when Annie and her men force their way into the house. Afterwards, Stacey tells Mo she must pay Jean back so will not let her leave, and Jean and Kat also decide to stay.
