Summary[]

Eddie arrives on the Square ready to take over the Vic. Simon considers leaving. The stallholders protest as trucks drive in and out the construction site entrance on Turpin Road.

Ian gives Cindy a maternity ring. She is touched by his kind gesture.

Frank officially hands over the Vic to Eddie.

Pete is unimpressed to learn his loan has been paid off. He realises Stuart has paid it off and confronts Ian over the situation.

Mo is upset Eddie has employed a catering company to cook for the day. He reassures her that it is only for a day and she will be back cooking the next day.

Dot fancies Jules. Jules finds the situation amusing.

Etta gets annoyed with Lloyd for buying more trainers when he already has enough pairs as it is.

April and Greg feel the battle against the council is over.

Stuart denies any knowledge of paying money into Pete's bank when Pete confronts him over it.

Eddie wants Simon to decide whether he will be head barman or not. Simon gets upset when he sees Cindy with a maternity ring on and decides to pack a bag and leave the Square.

Michelle is taken aback when one of her work colleagues assumes she is in a relationship with Stuart.

Cindy shouts Simon from across the Square as she sees him walking off. He ignores her.
