Summary[]

The war between Mick and Aidan intensifies as the landlord does all he can to get rid of his enemy once and for all. With the ex-convict refusing to back down, the pair come to a head. Meanwhile, Masood believes that he has forgotten Mariam's birthday when he arrives home to find the place full of gifts, so he embarks on a desperate search for a card.

Aidan arrives at the Vic with three thugs who guard the outside of the pub. Aidan wants Mick to apologise and allow the drug dealing to continue, but Mick refuses, saying he will stay in the Vic and bars Aidan for life. Aidan says that Albert Square is a cash cow that he will use as his pension scheme and punches Mick.

Whitney passes on Mick's message to Halfway.

Masood tries to get a birthday card for Mariam, thinking he has forgotten her birthday, and ends up seeing Mick and Aidan in the Vic.

Whitney brings her laptop to the Vic so that Halfway can tell Aidan that he saved the Vic with the ring he stole but Aidan is uninterested. Whitney leaves and Aidan beats Mick. Mick tells Aidan some home truths so Aidan hits him with his walking stick but is then stopped by Jack, who arrives with Ted, Billy, Linda and Shirley.

Meanwhile, Phil asks Sharon about how she took the money and Masood visits them, revealing that Mick is at the Vic with thugs outside. When Masood gets home, he realises that Mariam's cards are for Mother's Day, not her birthday. Sharon tells Phil that they should help Mick, but Phil is reluctant as Aidan is his friend but Sharon says that he is a stranger taking over the Square.

More men arrive in the Vic to back Aidan up and they start pouring petrol on the bar. Aidan threatens to burn it unless Mick apologises. Mick is forced to and Aidan says the drug dealing will resume, but after he leaves, Phil punches him back through the door, revealing the box but Phil is keeping the teeth. Phil has worked out that Aidan had Luke Browning killed when Phil only wanted him scared off and says that Vincent would go to the police if he knew. Aidan is forced to retreat and he leaves Walford. Phil tells Mick that Sharon took the money and everyone toasts Phil.
