Summary[]
The day of Abi's funeral arrives and the residents of Albert Square prepare to say their farewells. Max is more desperate than ever to say goodbye to his daughter. Back at the Vic, Linda realises that Halfway left his bag behind, so Whitney sets out to track him down.
|
Lauren tells Max to stay away from Abi's funeral and tells Whitney that she loves Josh but Whitney says Josh is controlling and wants Lauren to be sure about moving to Scotland with him. At the funeral, Tanya struggles to get out of the car, saying that she has let Abi down and tells Lauren not to be "swept away" by the wrong man. Cora tells Jack that Max will want revenge for being barred from the funeral and may kidnap Abi's baby so Jack rushes to the hospital and discovers that Max has registered the baby's name and called her Abi. Max says that he wants to bring her up better than his daughter. After the funeral, Max reads a poem for Abi in the empty church and then tells Lauren to be happy and live her life for herself and Abi. As Lauren goes to meet Josh, she walks away and ignores him. Meanwhile, Halfway has left his bag in the Vic so Whitney tries to track him down without luck, but he returns and kisses Whitney after she says they can stay in contact by email. |
