Summary[]

Phil is desperate to contact Ben and pressures Jay into giving him some answers, but he is in no mood for talking and finally opens up over his grief at losing Abi. Mel uses Louise to get herself an invitation to Phil's house, where she starts snooping - only to be stopped in her tracks when Sharon returns. Masood tries to make it up to Mariam by agreeing to meet a potential wife she has lined up for him, and Billy worries after a phone call to Les, who still does not know about his tax evasion.

Mel tells Ciara that she thinks Phil has the money and uses Louise to get access to his house. Sharon finds Mel there and Mel explains that her son is being kept from her. Eventually, Sharon tells Mel that she took the heist money. Meanwhile, Jay allows Phil to speak to Ben and Phil decides to visit him.

Arshad tells Masood to go on a date to keep Mariam happy. Masood meets Noor and when he realises that she is only there to make her mother happy, he tells her the truth about his life and they go their separate ways. Masood tells Mariam and she agrees to teach him her recipes.

Ted wins his and Patrick's chess competition but Patrick accuses Ted of cheating. Bernadette plays Ted but realises that Ted is cheating so is angry with him but he then agrees to play fair.
