Summary[]

Tensions simmer among the Branning family and just when Max tries to sort things out, more lies are exposed.


Jack tells Max that he needs to move on and build bridges. Lauren demands the truth from Max, so he says he did what he did to get money for his family. Lauren reveals that Abi is pregnant but realises Max already knows. He says Ian told him but it was not his place to bring it up with Abi or Lauren.

Stacey returns home with Hope, after seeing Lauren and Abi argue in the Square. Martin is dealing with a leaky washing machine.

Stacey heads over to Jack's to see if everything is all right. Lauren blames her for everything bad that has happened to the Brannings following her affair with Max. Stacey leaves after telling Max that she still cares about him.

Lauren reveals that she has a copy of Max's contract and threatens to burn it if he does not tell the truth. She does not believe what he says but is unable to burn the contract and gives it to him. Max destroys the contract anyway and admits he wanted revenge for everyone who lied or did nothing when he was sent to prison despite his innocence. After Lauren leaves, Max calls Abi a "slapper" so she also leaves. Max smashes Jack's family photos, then goes to burn himself, but has no cigarettes so he head butts a mirror instead.
