Summary[]

Max's affiliation with Weyland & Co is revealed as James makes public announcements for the next stages of their preparations. Not long afterwards, Kathy tells Phil what is happening and he secretly plans retaliation upon learning of Ben's attack.


James tells the Carters that they need to leave in a month's time because they breached their contract. He confirms that the Vic will be demolished along with other properties they own. The Carters realise that Fi lied as part of the plan to get the Vic. James and Luke then congratulate Max for his part in the plan. Lauren is confused because Josh told her the plan was cancelled but Josh says that is what he was told.

Johnny realises that raising more money will not help.

Max proposes to Fi, but she turns him down and James burns Max's contract and his £350,000 pay cheque. Max realises that he has been manipulated.

The Carters then tell James and the Brownings that they are still running the pub and to leave, which they do. James tells Josh to be a part of the plan.

Kush finds Carmel in tears and as Jack is taking Max out of the Vic, Kush arrives and punches him in the face, knocking him down. Jack takes Max home and stops him from self harming.

Phil and Kathy go to Ben in hospital and realise Luke attacked him. Kathy stops Phil from taking action, but he later calls Aidan for a favour.

Sonia convinces Kim to get checked at hospital and comforts her when she discovers she has miscarried.
