Summary[]
Phil tells Jay that Jase was not his father, but his real father was a homeless man that Phil accidentally killed in the car lot fire in 1994. Jay dismisses it as lies at first but says if it is true then Phil should go to prison for the death. Jay asks for more details, and says Phil must have felt guilty, realising that their shared history has all been about Phil's guilt. Phil says that knowing the truth will make Jay a stronger person, but Jay says Phil is trying to make himself feel better. Jay explains how much he loved Jase and now he has been taken away and replaced with a stranger. Phil asks Jay to allow him to speak to Sharon before calling the police, but Jay says he will do something else that he has not decided on yet. After Jay leaves, Phil makes a call to someone, saying he has lied to Jay as he was asked to and now the other person has to keep up their side of the deal.
