Summary[]

The Carters prepare for Linda's surprise birthday party. Sonia, Martin and Stacey come to blows over Bex's future.


Shirley realises that Mick's rash is an allergic reaction so he un-cancels Linda's party. When Linda arrives, she dislikes the changes in the Vic and at the end of the night, Linda receives a text message and tells Mick that Elaine has suffered a fall and returns to Watford; there, Elaine is fine and fully recovered from her stroke and Linda tells her that she could not tell Mick something.

After Doctor Ali airs his concerns that Dot may not have enough care at home, Sonia tells her that the contract on her flat fell through and she wants to move in with her. Robbie asks her why, as they have paid a deposit, and asks if something happened to her in Kettering. Sonia says that she wants to forget about Kettering.

Johnny tells Derek about the government's disregard scheme for those convicted of gross indecency to have the charges removed. Derek later agrees to apply.

Carmel gives Kush and Denise her blessing.
