Following Whitney's sudden departure, Mick leaves Whitney a voicemail, desperate for her to return his calls. Lauren arrives in the Vic and informs them that Kathy believed Whitney was going to stay at Bianca's. Shirley confirms this, which comes as a surprise to Mick, but Shirley insists it slipped her mind. Later, Stacey enters to give them a message from Whitney - she is staying with Ryan. Confused, Johnny asks why Shirley said she was at Bianca's, but a defensive Shirley insists that was what Whitney told her. After hearing the news, Lauren asks Mick what happened. As Mick starts to open up, Shirley interrupts and reveals that Whitney slept with Woody. Left alone, Shirley demands to know what Mick was thinking and tells him that she lied about Whitney's location so Mick would leave Whitney alone. Mick becomes increasingly drunk and argues with Shirley. Maddened by his pathetic behaviour, Shirley reveals that she kicked Whitney out and Mick snaps - throwing his glass at Shirley. Immediately regretful of his behaviour, Mick tells Shirley that he does not know who he is anymore. On the community forum "Rights for Fathers', Jack reads posts on residency cases. After reading Jack's letter about Charlie's residency application, Max insists he will find Jack a better solicitor than Jimmie Broome. Confused, Jack insists there is not enough time, but he agrees not to do anything until he has spoken with Max. Jack heads off to meet Jimmie and recruits Bex as a babysitter through Stacey. After the meeting, Jack tells Stacey he will likely lose the residency case if he is charged with ABH, so Stacey encourages Jack to sort something out with Charlie. With Amy and Ricky arguing upstairs, Jack makes a phone call, arranging to get rid of "someone' permanently. After filling the empty cupboards, Patrick cooks Denise breakfast. Denise refuses to talk about what happened, so Patrick threatens to speak to Kim. Frustrated, Denise insists he should not make her life into a big deal. Later, Patrick visits Kim in number 1 and Kim quickly realises something is up. Shocked by the truth, Kim tells Patrick that Denise was stupid for keeping quiet. Disagreeing, Patrick gives Kim some home truths, reminding Kim everything happened on her doorstep. At the Vic, Kim and Vincent discuss the situation and Kim realises she pushed Denise away. Vincent encourages Kim to go and make the situation right. In number 20, Denise is unhappy as Kim enters, but Patrick forces her to listen. Kim apologies for not being a supportive sister, but Denise insists it was equally her fault, as she did not want Patrick and Kim to see her in that state. As Kim and Denise make up, Kim hands Denise some cash to get back on her feet and promises to take her shopping. Disgusted at Kim's narrow mindedness, Denise tells Kim she can shove her money. In the Vic, Kim joins Patrick and tells him that she is going to put things right with Denise. With her phone still missing, Lauren asks Steven if he has found it yet. Maintaining the lie, Steven starts to look and pretends to find Lauren's phone down the side of the sofa, despite having it the whole time. In Beales', a self-satisfied Steven successfully tracks Lauren's phone, as Ian enters and reveals someone is making an offer on the chippy. Later that day, as Lauren stands outside the Vic, Steven approaches from behind and surprises her with a box of chocolates. Feeling sick from the smell of the chocolates, Lauren tells Steven that she has been feeling unwell all day. Steven tells her to go home and rest. In the Minute Mart, Billy shows Honey the design options for the new Coker & Mitchell logo. With Will's nightmares not getting any better, Joyce suggests getting Will a new duvet cover, as that helped her granddaughter. Billy returns to No.53a to find Honey, Janet and Will recently returned with new duvet covers. At night, Will has another nightmare and intrudes upon Billy and Honey getting intimate. Embarrassed, Honey agrees Will can sleep in their bed, much to Billy's annoyance. In the café, Jay and Donna struggle to agree on what to do for Abi's twenty first birthday. As Ben jokes at Abi's boring behaviour, an overhearing Abi tells Ben he is not invited to her party. |
