Summary[]
New bar manager Woody is made to feel less than welcome at the Vic by the Carters. Louise tries to apologise to Bex, but Bex makes it clear that they are no longer friends. Lauren is relieved to hear that she has an interview tomorrow for the job, prompting Steven to treat her to a new outfit and a romantic meal. When Donna is left with no heating or water, Ben suggests that she should move in with him and Jay.

Lauren tells Steven that she would love a brother or sister for Louie, but not right now. Steven takes Lauren shopping for a new outfit for her interview. On their way back outside the tube station, Lauren receives a text from Josh, wishing her good luck for the interview. Steven buys Lauren flowers and cooks a romantic dinner. As Lauren goes upstairs, Steven gets out a condom and stabs a knife through the middle of it. He puts the condom in his pocket and heads upstairs to a waiting Lauren. On his way back to the Arches, Ben spots a helpless Donna having trouble with her wheelchair. She tells Ben that she's been without hot water and heating for two days. Ben has a look at Donna's boiler; he tells her that it's definitely broken. Donna tells Ben how rubbish her landlord is. His face lights up when he sees her TV and tells her that he might be able to help her out. Ben shows Donna around number 18, he tells her that him and Jay are looking for a new housemate. Ben asks Donna to move in. Jay is not happy. Ben tries to convince Jay that Donna moving in could be the answers to their prayers. In the café, Louise spots Bex at the counter, Bex ignores her and leaves. At the Minute Mart, a teary Louise apologises to Bex. Bex storms off. Louise heads round to number 31 to apologise to Bex, but is shocked when Bex tells her their friendship is over. Michelle tells Louise not to give up on their friendship. |
