Summary[]
Stacey tells Martin that Michelle has been invited over for dinner. Ian and Steven launch their pop-up fish-and-chip shop, and Dot gives Amy and Ricky a lesson about the meaning of Easter. Whitney, Lauren and Abi get ready for their night out - but Lauren's mind is elsewhere.

Martin clocks Michelle and Sharon coming out of Number 55. Michelle tells Sharon she's going round for dinner whether Martin likes it or not. Jean arrives at Number 31 with Easter treats for Lily. Stacey asks Jean to watch the kids so she can take Martin to the pub. At the Vic, Stacey tells Martin she's invited Michelle for dinner - he's unhappy but his mood soon changes when Stacey tells him she's pregnant. An emotional and overjoyed Martin tells Stacey they should keep it quiet for now. He expresses his concerns over Stacey's health - she reassures him she'll be fine. Stacey and Martin return from the Vic, the tension between Michelle and Martin is awkward. Bex is alone at the allotments. Martin rings her but she ignores it. He leaves Bex a voicemail telling her to get home. Stacey, Martin, Michelle and Jean sit around the table eating dinner. Jean interrogates Michelle about her family and job. A livid Martin glares at Michelle. Bex arrives home but storms upstairs when she sees Michelle. An uncomfortable Michelle tries to leave but not before Martin tells Jean everything that's been going on with Preston. Michelle and Martin talk alone. Michelle asks Martin to forgive her. A furious Sonia arrives, revealing Bex called her - she's being bullied. Sonia accuses Martin and Stacey of neglecting Bex. Sonia's had enough - she wants Bex to go and live with her. Lauren gets a text from Josh. Lauren smiles, noticed by Jane who assumes it's from Steven. As Steven and Ian pack up the pop up restaurant, Steven admits to Ian that he wants children. Ian suggests that he talks to Lauren. Lauren and Whitney head upstairs in the Vic to get ready for their night out. Abi joins them. As the girls get ready, Lauren receives a text from Josh, telling her to have a good night. Lauren replies telling him where they are heading. As Abi, Lauren and Whitney drink downstairs in the Vic, Steven brings Lauren her jumper. She reassures him she's only going out to support Whitney. Lauren, Whitney and Abi arrive at the nightclub but Abi is refused entry. A random guy tells the bouncer she's with him, and he reluctantly lets her in. Back at home, Steven asks Louie if he would like a little brother or sister to play with. Meanwhile, Josh turns up at the nightclub - he and Lauren flirt. Whitney takes a drunken Abi outside. Josh tells Lauren she's playing games with him. He tries to kiss her but Lauren pulls away. Steven waits up for Lauren to come home. At the pop up restaurant outside the chip shop, a busy Steven phones Ian for help. At Number 45, Jane accuses Ian of eating Louie's Easter egg. An angry Ian gets the Easter egg out the cupboard - he hid it there because the lettering was spelt wrong. Jane feels guilty. Later, Ian arrives home, sees the Easter egg on the side and gives in to temptation. Outside the chip shop, Ian proudly shows Jane the for sale sign. Jane apologises to Ian for accusing him of eating Louie's egg. A guilty looking Ian can't bring himself to say anything. In the Vic, Tina's on the phone to Linda, she lies about the pub being busy. Tina tells Johnny she's disappointed they didn't make more money for Sylvie's funeral. In the café, Carmel and Kathy try to persuade Tina to be the Easter bunny for the Fayre. At number 25, Dot catches Ricky and Amy looking for their Easter eggs. Dot sits Amy and Ricky down to explain the meaning of Easter. At the dinner table, a subdued Amy and Ricky ask Dot if Ronnie and Roxy can come alive again like Jesus. |
