Episode 5466 (28 March 2017)

Summary[]

With the truth is out in the open, Michelle's world comes crashing down and she is forced to face her family and friends. As the pressure rises, she loses control - leading to disastrous consequences. Meanwhile, Denise insists that she and Kush should remain friends. Meanwhile, Whitney supports Tina, who is upset at the thought of Sylvie going into care.

In the Vic, Louise orders Michelle to tell Bex her dirty little secret. Michelle walks out, followed by Preston. Martin's shocked when Louise tells him that Dennis saw Michelle and Preston together. When Preston says he loves her, Michelle insists that he's too young to know about love and slaps him when he retorts that it didn't stop her getting into his bed. Martin punches Preston and pins him against the wall. Michelle tries to separate them. Ian takes Martin and Michelle back to the Beales'. When Preston arrives in tears, Ian has to restrain Martin. Martin feels sick when Michelle reveals that Bex was sleeping with Preston at the same time as she was. Martin berates her for not coming home when their mum lost her husband and her son. As the sleeping tablets start to kick in Michelle feels woozy. Martin disowns Michelle. Later, Michelle apologises to Bex and Bex reveals that Preston's gone. Michelle demands that Louise tells her where Preston is. When she reveals she saw him heading for the tube station, Michelle drives off in the car without putting on her seatbelt. Driving erratically, Michelle sees Preston, who jumps out of the way of the car. As Michelle swerves to avoid him she crashes into the chip shop, trapping Kush and Kathy inside. Michelle lies slumped at the wheel motionless.

Tina and Johnny have enjoyed watching Sylvie dance all night. Sylvie listens to You Don't Have To Say You Love Me and tells Tina that she used to sing it to her children to get them to sleep. She admits that she was a rotten mother but never stopped loving her children and wonders what became of them. As she dances with Sylvie, Tina weeps.

Kush visits Denise and suggests they pick up where they left off at the community centre. Denise is adamant that they can't and says they are better off as friends. Later, a drunk Kush declares that he doesn't want to be Denise's friend but she tries to shut down the conversation.
