At Walford High School, Louise spots Bex in isolation in the classroom. Louise, Madison and Alexandra watch through the window as Samuel enters and talks to Bex. Samuel tells Bex that the girls said she's easy and up for anything. Bex storms off home, pushing past the girls. Mr Pryce clocks this. After a pep talk from Martin, Bex returns to school and tries to talk to Louise about their friendship; she knows Louise isn't to blame and starts to slag off Alexandra and Madison, who turn up behind her. Louise anxiously paces outside the toilets, keeping lookout as the girls push Bex around and throw her stuff. It nearly gets too much for Louise; she goes to the door, but stops herself and gets teary. Madison rips Bex's blouse and holds her down whilst Alexandra writes "dirty' on her forehead. Alexandra and Madison storm out of the toilets, telling Louise that they taught Bex a lesson. Bex is left alone in the toilet cubicle, curled up and sobbing. As Bex cleans herself up in the toilet, Mrs Lund enters and asks what's happened. She wraps her cardigan around an upset and shaken Bex. In the headmaster's office, a terrified Bex is questioned by Mr Pryce and Mrs Lund. She admits it was Louise who first sent the intimate photo of Shakil, then Madison and Alexandra. Madison, Alexandra and Louise walk to McKlunky's, mocking Ian who is struggling to walk after his jog. Louise looks on, worried, and follows the girls inside. Alexandra and Madison grill Louise about when Preston's coming back, and make Louise buy them drinks. Whilst Louise is at the counter, all three girls receive a text telling them to report to Mrs Lund's office after registration tomorrow. Alexandra works out that Bex has blabbed; the girls stare at Louise who looks worryingly anxious. Lauren and Abi are at number 45 discussing cooking dinner for Max tonight; Steven enters and assumes he's invited. Lauren tells him it's just family; Steven feels frozen out. Lauren pushes Louie over to Max, who's playing with Ricky's remote control car outside number 27. She asks if he's heard from Jack and invites Max for dinner tonight. Over dinner later, Lauren and Abi quiz Max about his job in the city; he says he works at Canary Warf in property but is very vague. As Lauren and Abi clear up after dinner, they are intrigued and wonder if he even has a job. In the Vic, Johnny shows Whitney how they can save money by switching Lady Di's dog food to a cheaper brand. Whitney catches Mick outside with a man handing over knock-off booze. Mick's still smarting over Linda's departure and stresses to Whitney about his money troubles. Whitney tries to make Mick see sense and tells him to not do anything stupid, reassuring him that all his hard work will pay off. Shirley clashes with her cellmate Debbie, who quizzes her about what she's in prison for. In the prison hallway, the inmates tease Shirley and make fun of her behind her back. Shirley tells them that she doesn't want to make any enemies; Debbie says it's too late. In the Square gardens, Martin asks Michelle to tutor Bex. Michelle hurries off, saying she'll think about it. Martin's surprised to see Bex home from school in the middle of the day; he follows her into number 31. In the kitchen, Martin quizzes Bex about school and empathises with her; everyone was against him too when he killed Jamie. Martin chokes up, telling Bex that she doesn't deserve what she's going through. He gives her a choice, telling her that she can still make her lessons. Later, Stacey pushes Arthur down the market and chats to Martin about Bex. Stacey's impressed that he took her advice and suggests not telling Bex about their appointment at the psychiatrist about trying for a baby. In the café, Michelle asks Tina how Sylvie's doing. Tina admits it's a struggle as Sylvie's not sleeping. Michelle empathises. As Ian and Steven jog past the Minute Mart they spot Michelle looking at the alcohol. Michelle mocks Ian's running outfit and tells Ian that she's struggling sleeping; Ian suggests going to the doctor's. Michelle enters number 55 and despairs at the mess in the kitchen; she gets out a bottle of vodka and looks over at the doctor's contact details from Sharon's address book. |
