Fire crews and ambulances arrive on the scene and Whitney is rescued from under the bus. Martin is taken to hospital and later Stacey tells him that she wants a baby with him; he agrees. Keegan tries to sell stolen goods to Lee in another café and, when Shakil arrives, Lee learns of what's happened; he rushes to the hospital to see Whitney. Before he gets there, Whitney has doubts about the relationship, but Mick assures her that Lee will realise how much he loves her; Whitney kisses Mick, which is seen by Denise, who suffered concussion. Lee arrives moments later, unaware of the kiss. Shakil tells Bex that he thought he was going to lose her but Louise tells him to leave. Tina, Shirley and Sylvie make it back and Babe tells Sylvie that the crash was her fault for running in front of the bus. All the locals then appear to be safe, though the bus driver is dead. Stacey leaves Max a voicemail, thanking him for saving Martin. Meanwhile, Max meets the chairman of a company called Weyland & Co at the top of The Shard, where they talk about Max's connections in Walford; Max says that the Vic is his next target. |
